Tomorrow is the day. Have got rid of all my cigs, Ashtrays, lighters. this is doing my mind in feeling sick and having a headache al the time ... im still on the old champix.. going to c the nurse on monday.

your are right i cant wait to quit, as i say these headaches are really bad, came over all hot at work today, wasnt very happy as i was driving at the time. i am starting to feel really tired now, just cant wait to go to bed now.. early early bed me thinks..TRES

Tres, if you are finding the side effects of champix to be too much, you can reduce the dose. If you want to reduce the dose, you can either get lower dose (probably 0.5mg) tablets off your doctor. Alternatively, you can cut the tablets up that you have (I checked this with my doctor and he said it was ok to cut them up). I'm currently cutting 1mg tablets in half which has made the champix bearable for me.

You might find that when u stop smoking the headaches should ease as I had headaches up until I stopped xx
