Week 4 and doing ok

Hi everyone...2 days into week 4 and feeling good....picked up my NRT from the chemist today and I am going for the reduced strength patches...removing them before bed...and lozenges to keep any surprise cravings away...which are becoming very rare now....starting to feel confident I can keep this going....so happy to be able to say that.

Hope all fellow quitters are doing well...cheers gang, and thanks for all your support.

  • Well done Cymro

So glad you are feeling strong in your quit.

    It's a strange feeling isn't it?

A very strange process indded! .... Different, difficult at times, exciting, weird!!, empowering and beautiful .....

    Something like that anyway! :)

Well done again, race to month 2? :)

    Cheers

Well done guys. I'm finding the cravings are getting less and less and that I'm in a better mood in the mornings! Thinks its cause I'm no longer wondering when I'm going to have the first 'smoke' of the day! :-)

  • More the merrier Werthers :)

You're quit date is the same as Cymro's isn't it and ahead of ours so that obviously makes you the boss in fact!

No sneaking round the bike sheds mind you, unless its for a puff on your inhaler...titter

    Well done for going strong

    Take care

    Greg

  • Thanks Nifty & Sian!

I have to say im more of a follower - we'll get Cymro to be da boss! :p

Alas the bike sheds are fading to a distant memory :) (yaaaay) ...

  • Can I come?

This is bad. I was the youngest of 3 and always tagging along with droopy knickers and a runny nose, but your gang wouldnt be a proper gang without someone trying desperately to catch up and I am only about 2 weeks behind.

  • Of course you can MrsM

It's always the underdog with the runny nose (not too sure about the droopy knickers :) ) that saves the day in the movies....

We need a name, any suggestions?

    er..... The Droopy Runners?

    :D

  • Haven't spoken to you for a while Cymro, you should be on Day 26 now, cool beans! :D

Keep it going, the 1st month milestone is tantalisingly close!

  • well done cymro

You must be so proud of yourself!! Its a great feeling reducing the NRT, gives a real sense that this will be your time!!

    Stay strong!!!

  • Hi Guys...sorry...not been on here for a while...like the sound of a gang...together we will beat this monster....see you in month 2.....what was the gangs name again?
