Its day four and still smoking, please could someone tell me when champix is going to start working or have i got to be paicent with this people keep telling me i will stop around the 8day, i used to smoke between 15-20 cigs a day but now im down to 5-7 a day...

It already is Hun as you've already started to cut back, trying to quit on day 8 is a good idea x

Sian's right, you don't even need to think about quitting during the first 7 days because you are building up the daily dose. I didn't quit until I'd been taking Champix for 30 days, and I'm still taking it now.
That said, you have already cut down from 15-20 to 5-7 per day, and you're not yet onto the full dose yet, so that is looking promising.
So don't worry! You are ahead of schedule and doing fine!
As previous posters have said you are ahead of schedule the Champix sounds like it is doing its job. I stopped after 7 days of Champix.
