Day 13 - lucky for me
Hey Rlork, well done on your quit & welcome to the forum! Wow!! 13 / 14 days is excellent!! Through the hardest part (hell week), how many of the horrible little white things did you smoke a day & what method are you using to quit? I'm on day 11 of my cold turkey quit! Going well but had a major wobble over the weekend! keep reading the posts, they are a great help & keep going!!
I smoked between 20 and 30 of the evil things each day. I am using patches and low strength niquitin minis. The first weekend I went out and bought another NRT replacement every time I was having a crisis so I also own an e-cig and inhalator! First week was grim grim but most of week two was better apart from 24 hours of hell on day 12. How about you? What method are you using. Wish I could go ct. I am reducing the number of minis I have and think I will drop down to lower strength patches next week. I am on holiday this weekend so that will test all my resolve. Will be having a very dry weekend as am going to have to steer clear of alcohol for the foreseeable. At least losing those calories should make up for my new fruit pastille addiction!
Hey guys, I hear what you are saying about the drinking! That's when I had my wobble while on my 3rd pint! Was like a baby wanting his dummy! What I have started to do since is have 1 beer every other night (I never normally drink in the week) just to start disassociating beer from cigarettes. I can cope with 1 beer enough not to let the demon nag too much but I find it is working!
