Ten Weeks...

Almost anything can be a milestone, no?

For me, I'm one day past ten weeks (71 days) without a cigarette. Although I rarely have cravings any more, I do get them from time to time, but they're not that strong and are easily dispatched.

More than a craving, sometimes I just get a wistful nostalgia for smoking. When I'm just a little stressed, or bored, or listless, I find myself thinking, sometimes, that a cigarette sure would be good right about now. That's because, I'm sure, that's how I handled it in the past.

But as I say, this nostalgia, or perhaps craving, doesn't last long. When it happens, a quick trip to this website to read the latest posts, or a visit to my quit meter is usually all it takes to dispose of the problem.

I'm happy to have not smoked 1,434 cigarettes in the last 71 days! I enjoy having $397.40 in my bank account that would have been spent on them!

So, here's to Ten Weeks, and soon three full months, and then four months, five months, six months, and beyond.

Woohoo!

10 weeks

I also thought of 10 weeks as a milestone. That is a really decent quit. I hope you are going to treat yourself with all those dollars you have saved. You should be proud as we all should be proud of ourselves. Here's to the next ten weeks DGee! Well done!:)
