I know this is a bit taboo, I have checked NHS and no-one seems to mention blocked nose and itchy ears!
I can't be the only person suffering with this.
does anyone have any remedies?

I am no expert, but I reckon a blow and a scratch might help!!
...there are a few physical side-effects surrounding recovery from stopping smoking which we can suffer such as: headaches, cold symptoms, sweating, hands and feet tingling....and also stomach cramps and/or nausea.
From a post recently.
Normal stuff, Maura...although I don't have a scooby re the itchy ears...maybe's some one is gossiping about you

Never had hay fever before,
but you never know.
seems like I am the only person, I am sure it isn't a common cold i have had it for about 10 weeks, anyway if it is to do with giving up it's worth it, Thanks everyone for replying,

i never suffered from hayfever intill about 3 years ago now all i do it cry and sneeze in the summer
Yep - I developed an allergy to tree pollen about three years ago, it can strike at any time.
I'd recommend trying an antihistamine - piriton or something. It can't hurt you, and if it helps, you'll know you're on the right track!
Really sounds like hayfever. I'd never had it before until last year, so you just never know. If its affecting me I get itchy eyes and sneezing but lots of people I know get itchy ears and throat!
