Smoking dreams ..

Day 14 as of 10pm tonight !

I've been doing OK until last night. Dont know where it came from but I dreamt I was chain smoking for what felt like the entire night. Had the most evil cravings when I woke up !

Still off the fags though

Well done on getting to the two week mark!

It seems smoking dreams are quite common, although I never experienced it myself. If you read some of the old posts, there are several accounts of people waking up shocked at themselves before they realise it didn't really happen.

Funny you should say that. Last night I dreamt that I was in the corner-shop and bought ten fags! I woke up with a jolt thinking Nooooooooo! :eek:

I have this recurring dream that I killed someone and almost got away with it, except that the mounting evidence is pointing at me and it seems like I'm about to be caught. I can tell you I'm always VERY relieved when I wake up from that one! :eek:

I never smoke in my dreams, now or during the 17 years I smoked...maybe that's because I never saw myself as a smoker. Weird how the brain imagines what it wants.

No worries. Even in my dream I don't know anything about the detail because I've tried to erase the ghastly event from my mind. Hmm, but having said that I guess it also means that theoretically it could have been you! :eek:
