Started my quit!!

I've started my (what I aim to be) final quit tonight at 8.30pm! Using step 2 patches as I stopped during my pregnancy and started again on a night out two weeks ago! I could kick myself but need to do this for myself and my baby boy who's almost 11 weeks old!! Wish me luck!

Good luck MrsMash.....you can do it. Just look at your lovely baby boy and do it for him. He wants you to stick around as long as possible. There's no better reason than stopping the smokes for your family. Did you know there's a person called mash on here who's a friend of mine...he never said he had a wife. LOL! Congrats on making the right decision.

Mrs Mash, good for you. I stopped during both my pregnancies, and started up after a similar length of time on my first night out - both times! Only I continued sneaking around, hiding my habit from my children, for the next ten years :eek: Glad you're not going down the same route!

You are doing a very very good thing here. Take it one day at a time, and use this forum, it's an amazing source of support.

Thanks everyone for your kind words of support! Yeah I started hiding as I didn't want people to know I started again after doing so well but that stressed me out so I thought lets go again!!
