Well I had managed to get to 14 days, had the worst day at work that included tantrums and tears and had 2 puffs of a cigarette! Very ashamed of myself and doubting my quit. Does this mean I am posting in the wrong part of the forum and need to go back to day 1??
By the way it tasted vile!!

Dust yourself off, throw any cigs away that you may have on you, Forgive yourself and just continue on being smoke free. Two puffs does not undo all the work you have put in. Get your head right and get back on that horse.
Don't let this affect your quit, just a blip, now you know how gross it made you feel both physical and mental and how you do not want to smoke, not even one puff.
Thanks Jubilee, I have no cigarettes. I didn't buy any it was one of those walking out of work offer of a cigarette!! I know I don't want to be a smoker and I know it made me feel dreadful. You just start to doubt yourself when you have a 'blip', I know I can't afford to have any more. This time it's forever
You'll be stronger now. You will be able to see when you are getting to the breaking point and then you can tell yourself to get on the forum or take deep breaths or go cry for 5-50 mins (lol).
As you probably realized after you smoked is that what did it help?? The stress was still there smoking or not. I chain smoked when I was stressed out yet I was still stressed out smoking. Your brain tell you it helps but it does not. Your still a nonsmoker just continue on and remember what you have learned.
