2 Days Completed

I have now managed two whole days of smoking abstinence and I am in my third day.

I still feel the urge to smoke sometimes but I am starting to find the smell disgusting again which is a good thing.

I find that playing with the NHS smoking stress toy is a good thing to do during cravings but I haven't tried this outside the house yet lol

Congrats

Agree with you on the fidley toy from the NHS Quit Kit.

However, mine got severly abused within hours, and is in bits in the coffee table drawer.

I have now become a serial poster on this forum, well, at least my hands and fingers are busy I guess.

Wishing you all the best

Don

Im on day 2. I was never a heavy smoker, a sneaky smoker and smoked in private probably a couple a day. Never in front of friends, family or my other half. An operation has meant that I have had to quit and I plan to stay off them. Its amazing as 2 -3 ciggies compared to what some ppl smoke is nothing but its amazing how much control they have over you. Th funny thing is I never crave when I cant have one its when I am on my own and they are available that I do.

I too was nt a heavy smoker at first i went from 2 aday in 72 to 40 a day in 2011. have wanted to quit when i was a 2 a dayer its taken me yrs to quit. i wish id done it yrs ago give it up now while u can, i couldnt until oct 11. dont wait around do it and save yourself a lot of bother....and avoid blocked arteries which block slowly and just quite simply drag the life out of you as well as the joy
