Apart from the odd psychological craving linked to my depression, most of the time the thought of smoking actually makes me feel a bit sick.
Otherwise, I seem to be the exception that proves the rule as I've got quite possibly the worst chest infection I've ever had. I've been coughing for 3 weeks now, and there's a horrible rattling in my chest where one of the tubes seems to be blocked up :(. I sound like I have a smoker's cough - but I never had one when I was a smoker .
At least when I see the doctor I won't have the shame of admitting I'm a smoker I suppose.
Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Congrats on reaching 5 months today, that is really cool
Sorry about the chest infection and hope it clears soon. My doc said that people can get these things for months after quitting so don't worry too much.
Meanwhile you can celebrate with lots of cake and lots of rose wine (good for the throat)
I heard that about the wine too It definitely works.
Well done on month 5!
I was actually reading that thinking id love to get a cold or chest infection and go to doctors and tell them ive stopped lol. Think about it this way though, if you'd still been smoking it coulda been a whole lot worse!
