Yesterday was day 4- what a disaster. Someone drove into the back of my car- I was due to be selling it next week. Bloody nightmare. had to call AA- exhaust not ok and scratched n I was v.shaken. Went home, back hurting. Masive row with boyfriend about a few things that have been there for a while....all I could think was just have a ciggy- it will make it easier! By some miracle I didn't smoke. Don't know who/how/what happened. I know my boyfriend had some in his coat pocket. I thought about whether 1 was going to make it any easier- was having a cigg going to mean that woman didn't hit my car? Was it going to mean that we didnt have a row? Was it going to make my situation any better? NO- in fact it would have made it worse, coz I would have woken up this morning feeling giulty for smoking.
So I didnt smoke.
And it is now day 5!!
Thnx Bec on this forum as well- u defo helped yesterday when I was deciding whether to smoke last night or now. Wow, would have felt so crappy this morning if I had!! :)

absolutely well done on getting through an awful day you sure broke a few triggers in one day i am well impressed you did all this so early in your quit
What a nightmare day you had! Fab that you resisted smoking though. Now what ever challenges are thrown at you you'll be able to look back and think that you got through that day without smoking you can get through others!
I think I'm being tested too, no where near as bad as your day but my bank keep ringing me and it seems there's been lots of fraud on my account and cards have been cancelled and now I have to go into the bank to sort it out! Was so p'd off and stressed... Guess what I wanted!! On the plus side I don't have the money to smoke even if I wanted to now lol*
Day 5! Pretty good going, for once i'm not really looking forward to the weekend...
that is a huge thing......well done you....it would've been sooooooooo easy to give in to a cigarette......you must feel very proud of yourself...........keep up the good work :0)
Hey, bloody well done. Sometimes it seems the "universe" conspires to bring everything to our door, just to give us an opportunity to test ourselves...and in your case come out on top and well and truly tested.
Scrap that, I am looking forward to the weekend and do not need cigarettes to have a good weekend!!
Love it!! Good approach!!
We will survive. Feeling a bit :S tonight but just came online and saw all the messages- relaly helped boost my motivation 5 days, truly awesome, I am so happy and pleased for all of us.
