hello all! it is 13 months today that i have been quit! how the time has gone.
congrats to all quitters that have taken the steps to keep on their quit journey and those who are beginning and who are still trying to get it right!
sometimes i wish all those who are struggling could just feel for a day the way we longer term quitters feel....they would see how great this is and would be easier to get through the rough times and keep on!
if i would have been able to do this i think i would have quit alot sooner!
anyway that was just my thought and wanted to share that and congrats to all my fellow new years quiters on making it another month away from those horrible things we used to want so much!! congrats to all and have a great day!

im a quarter of where you are and get what your saying tenfold, i wouldve quit years ago if i knew it would feel like this and that it is true it does get easier.
IAQ, I agree completely. I keep saying 'it does get better, it does get better, it's all worth it, honestly!' But I remember reading such things earlier in my quit and not really believing it was true. True for other people, these miraculous people who'd been quit months and months, but not for me.
I'm so glad I stuck it out though, and will keep doggedly telling people to keep going, because the way you feel when you're really free is just worth any amount of pain.
