Aww don't say that, no you're not. We've all been there & done that & even got the t-shirt! I failed a whopping 36 hr quit recently but the important thing to remember is that although we may have succumbed to this nasty habit again, its imperative to get back in to it again before all resolve to stop wanes completely. No pressure tho
Seriously, you can do it. Stop telling yourself you can't. Trust me I hear you loud and clear, I am kinda struggling to stick to a quit date but you know what? Stand next to that cigarette & ask yourself: who's stronger? You, or that sly, trickster of a so called "friend" that brain washes you in to believing you need him? (yes, its a him :p)? No, must stand our ground and tell it to sod off where the sun don't shine.
Your not a looser, everyone that is on this forum is a winner regardless.
Dont beat yourself up about it. Been there got the T shirt, just keep on trying every quit is a quit regardless if its a day or months its minus cigerettes you would have had. At least you are trying now and thats all anyone can do. The biggest part is acknowledging your habbit and deciding to make the change and do something about it. You have done so well already. Each quit you learn something new and its does make you stronger untill one day and one quit it will stick.
Just take it a day at a time, you can do it and we all will support you
getting down on yourself only takes you further away from your goal of quitting. be proud of yourself for trying and keep on trying and you will succeed big time! all the best!
hi want to smell nice. I know where your coming from. But you can only keep trying which is exactly what ive been doing. My next quit date is 7th feb with NS clinic and this is or will be my 8th attempt. So dont worry want to smell nice your day will come and dont feel bad. Best wishes. Jacqui.
