Hello! Today is my quit day. I'd actually been off them for nearly three weeks before Saturday. It was our wedding anniversary, the booze was flowing and inhibitions just went out the window- along with all my good work.
Still, I'm back on the wonderful QuickMist as of this morning and I'm determined not to slip again. I really want it this time. I'm Mum to 4 young kids and we could really use the extra cash. Most of all though I feel ready. That's the main thing, isn't it?!
Guess I'm going to have to lay off the demon drink for a while!
Look forward to chatting with you all

Hey Paula - welcome to the forum and well done on getting back onto the old quit pony....brave thing to do.
I agree - if you feel ready and if you feel that you really want to do this - then you will, no doubt about it.
Don't get too stressed about having smoked after 3 weeks - what matters is that you are not smoking today. Put what happened this weekend behind you and get on with the quit. It's what you do going forward that count!
I went to the smoking cessation class this afternoon and they reset my quit date to today and were very supportive. They know I have been determined to kick it and I really am. Back on the wagon, as it were! I'll not dwell on it any longer. Dusting myself off and moving onward!
The QuickMist that I've been using is fabulous! I'd recommend it to anyone trying to quit but don't buy it. If you can, use your local stop smoking service. At £17.99 a tube- not cheap! But free at the clinics
