New to the forum, Day 12!

Hello everyone. A little history about me. I smoked for 43 years, this past year I was smoking 3 packs a day....that's 60 cigarettes a day. Scared the heck out of me.

I quit once before 11 years ago when I got Breast cancer, but gave in after a couple of months. I also developed COPD around the same time. I guess I just wasn't ready then.

But, I am ready now and I am quit for 12 days. Already my cough is almost gone, I can walk up the stairs again and I just feel better than I have in a long time.

To anyone thinking about quitting or starting back up....Quit! It is the single most important thing you can do for yourself, your family and your friends. Just say N.O.P.E each and every day...ppat

    Welcome to a great forum :D

    And well done on giving up on smoking 12 days is a great achievement whenever you get a craving just try to keep mind and hands busy while it lasts it will pass reading the posts on here and posting will help keep both busy

    Onwards and upwards is the way to go
