What day are you on in your quit cmad? Sorry your feeling crapola about it!

Oops sorry I see you posted in Day 2. The first 3-4 days going CT is the worse...the craves after that lessen and lessen each day after that. The first week CT was by far the worst for me...after that I thought "well nothing can be as bad as that first week so I can manage my quit better now". After that it was all just mind games with yourself that you just have to keep in check. The first 4 days were the worst for physical withdrawal syptoms...sometimes if I felt like a fag I just went to bed. Remember if you get through this first week you can do anything.!!!! Make that your goal and be bloody stubborn about it! Good luck.

And you got through that first day!!! bloody hell that's a great achievement in itself.

Thanks

Thanks guys....that was the most intense craving to date.....didn't really believe the 3 minute craving blurb...I was thinking sure I want one all the time but that one knocked me for 6....lighter in the hand and all!! ...but got through it :)

This forum is actually super....was reading through it last night....great for support given that I live in a house of smokers (!!) so glad I joined now and had the cop to post for support there :)

Going to head to bed for a bit then out to a non-smoking friend's house....anything to pass the time...roll on a week's time when the cravings are more manageable....determined to be part of the 10% that makes it!!

Thanks again
