Interview blues 2

Hi all , posted just over a week ago worried about job interview with Land rover, live in Spain had to fly over for tests and interviews. Well guess what!! got the job, start 19th Dec, dead nervous much to do and not much time to do it in. With extra stress comes the dreaded urge to smoke, I can feel it trying to pull me in. This must be the worst time ever to try and kick the weed, new job,new country, being separated from family{not coming until June}. But hey ho have come this far, also have made promise to self and quit buddy Michellopy and N.O.P.E.R's that we will enter penthouse together, I am not one to break a promise!!! So onwards and forwards one day at a time.

Hiya Nickif....just wanted to congratulate you before I have a break from here. Well done on getting the job, I read your thread a while back and was wondering whether you got it....many congrats. I know it's stressful but you won't smoke...you've already gone through some stressful times. You don't need the evil weed, none of us do. Really pleased for you. To think you'll be working a short distance from where I live. When my OH first moved to birmingham he used to call the place where the landrover site is "rubbery"!!! LOL!

Nickif - that is great news, really well done.

I work in the Automotive sector and JLR are just about the only good news story at the moment, so will be brill.

As for stress and smoking - another way to look at it is, nobody will know you as a smoker, you will be in a completely different envirnment, work, home and scoially so less triggers.

You will be great - and well done again

i think i need help lol

ive been on zyban a month now feeling a bit spaced out, and cravings bad one day ok the next. how long does this last. also my hubby still smoking around me which is making things even harder .
