Hello all, well I am on day 8 of Champix and tomorrow is my quit day:eek:. I have had no side effects so far and today is the first time when i 'cant be bothered' to go for a smoke, I have forced myself to go for a couple and they taste vile.
I am glad I have found this group as im sure I will need your helop and advice in the future! x

Good luck for tomorrow. You're already doing well..I stuck it out 'til day 15 of Champix!!!
I'm now day 21 smokefree. I've had hardly any physical cravings, just a few mental ones! But I have dealt with them with support, advice and encouragement from this forum.
Keep posting here and we'll all help you along.

There is plenty of support to be had on this forum, so make sure to make full use of it. Stay positive and enjoy your quit, it is the best thing you can do for yourself.

I know its only 09.07 but on the drive to work I would normally have had a couple of smokes but I didnt really think about it, so far so good and I have my oranges if things get tough! x
ha ha...poor oranges you gonna eat them, drain their juice or slap em around a bit...good luck for today. X

Hope that your first day hasn't been too painful Vic. The first few days are the hardest, so if you can get through those, you should be fine.
