Im really pleased to be here, but today I thought Im going to take a risk. So today I have decided to leave off my patch and see how long I can go without using it. I still have the lozenges but if I can get rid of the patches thats 21mg of nicotine I will no longer be having.
The safety net is that I still have them in a bag next to me so if I feel like crumbling I can stick one on in a flash.
Going to give it a go anyway.
Wish me luck!

best of luck. im also using patches but will keep them on for the whole 3mth progrmme .once iv had 3mth of not smoking then i will give up the nicotine patches. this cripple needs his crutches and doesnt care what he looks like for now cos in 6 mths me and my life are going to be fantastic.
Good luck with this Lillie. You have done so well up till now, and if you are confident, then you are almost certainly right. And if you have an emergency one nearby, then as you say, you can sort it out before anything untoward happens.
That is brave, but you could get some nicotine withdrawals, so see them for what they are if they do happen. I know what you mean about wanting to get the nicotine out of your system cos I felt the same. But quitting cigs is the important thing, so do whatever you need to to get there.
