Yep, Day 9 and I can safely say it's getting easier.
Cigarettes continue to cause a problem in our house though as the OH seems to be back on them full time
It's weird because we just don't mention it. He creeps round like a naughty school boy trying to smoke on the quiet - probably just keeping temptation away from me, but I find myself getting annoyed with him!!
I guess it is a very personal journey and he will make his when he is ready.

Well done JQ. In some ways, I have to sympathise with your OH here! Six years ago, when my husband and I last tried to quit, I was the guilty party. It was absolutely awful. Just like a kid, I tried to keep it from him, and then we went through weeks of him thinking that he could smell it, and me denying it. Oh, the agony... And then, of course, the cherry on the cake was me being held responsible for him going back to smoking as well.
I really wish you well - this presents an additional challenge that you maybe hadn't expected, but on the positive side, if you can do this, you can deal with any other temptations that may come your way!
