Well done Gary on getting to day 8 you have done so well.
Glad you finally managed a good nights sleep.
I tended to find that around that time I was tense so that could be the knotting feeling you have. Try to find something to distract you or to take the stress out on. The craving was still a little difficult to handle then but believe me it does get so much easier and you will find that it doesn't bother you so much.

Well done Gary. Physically, I would say that at this stage, pretty much any sensation can be put down to your body adjusting to being without nicotine. You can't underestimate what a change this is. things will get better, though.
Well done Gary!!
It is a really good feeling isn't it?!
I feel so chuffed with myself for making day 8. Hope you do too!

Hi Guys
Thanks 4 the positive comments sure helps you get through things, as well as keeps one motivated.
Took the OH out for dinner last night, first time I have had a drink since quitting.
However before we went out I found my self justifying to my self, that if I relapse it's FINE I wont smoke in the morning!!
How dumb can you be!!!!
I suddenly thought DUDE! you B/S ing your self! decide know if you gonna drink and smoke if so STAY at home, or MAN up go out have a few drink's and dont smoke SIMPLE!
Day 9 no smoking !!!
Well done to you for giving yourself a good talking to and not giving in
I know how you feel though, I still have times when I try to justify just having one, manage to get over it though. It is just the nicotine monster rearing it's dying ugly head and trying to make a last ditch attempt at getting you to go back.
Keep up the fantastic work, you are doing really well.
