Nearly the end of day 5. Worst day.

Today has been the worst day for me. I didn't really feel like smoking, but I just had no energy and was in a terrible mood.

I hope tomorrow I will feel a bit better.

It is half an hour away from being day 6 so that is a positive I guess to make it through another day. I just keep telling myself it will pay off in the long run. Does it get any better?

It definitely does get better.

The way you feel it's hard for you to imagine at the moment but as every quitter will tell you it gets a lot, lot easier as time goes by.

You've got to keep focused on your goal and stay strong.

Imagine you wish you could be like your favourite sports person but to be at their level you have to train very hard, the training isn't easy in the beginning but as each day/week passes sees a little improvement (you may also have a couple of knock backs in your training) but eventually all your hard work pays off and you've reached your goal.

Quitting is very similar, you have a goal but you have to work hard to train your mind to reach that goal, you CAN do it!

Thanks for your replies, gave me good inspiration. It was just what I need to hear.

I promised my wife I would quit, as we just found out she is pregnant. So what ever happens and what cravings I get, I have no option but to overcome it.

I think this site looks really helpful, seems like there are nice people here.
