we are all acheiving milestones they may sound pathetic to the normal person who has never smoked but to us it is a major events and i think we are all brilliant
I find that with most things after quitting (like quitting itself) it's more of a case of the 'fear of the unknown' that holds us back... once it's done we realise it's not so bad really
Well done, thats excellent! To lots that is the worst time. From now on when you get a wee craving just say to yourself "I got through being at the pub, I will get through any craving"
So you jolly well should be That's a milestone by anyones reckoning :cool: I can remember my first time of going out socially, and l was dreading it as well. I still remember the feeling of satisfaction and slight smugness l felt when l didn't have to go outside to join the others in a cigarette. So there you go - you have every right to feel chuffed with yourself. :D
