Sorry to hear about today karri. If it ain't the time it ain't the time! I kept saying tomorrow for weeks and the one day I woke up with the intension of stopping and as usual I failed, but this time it was strange it really got to me, I remember driving home in a rage, I felt like a joke it was pure anger with myself. I knew then that I would stop. Days later I stopped. As you said before who knows what effect NRT had my start, apart from the throbbing arm, the bad dreams and sleeplessness, and withdrawal when I needed a new patch, I only no that I don't need them now and I have never felt so distant from that old smelly me. Good luck on your next try. Oh and life will always be stressful with the fags or not.

Just going to come out and say this but I didn't make it. Bit of stress and I ran straight into the arms of a cigarette. I have had a negative state of mind all day and just knew this quit wasn't going to be "the one". A few things in life have to be sorted first before I can commit myself again. In all honesty I was kidding myself a little if I thought I could take on such a huge challenge with so much going on in the background.

I have set a new quit date of 9th March (No Smoking Day) so hopefully it will be a good omen.

As I think you said in an earlier post - your mind has to be in the right place. If the mind isn't willing nothing is going to work. Sometimes there's too much else in life going on.

I hope everything gets sorted by the 9th for you.
