I'm here, I think. 13 weeks done as of today, well last night actually. Keep having bouts of cravings (or something) which isn't great, and my husband isn't being that supportive at the moment, saying I should just go and smoke, and i only gave up cos he had, oh and he didn't want me to give up so I could join his 'club'. Arrrrrgggghhhhh.......bloody men (well not all ;)). Anyway I'm not going to smoke, I haven't smoked, and I have no intention of doing so having come this far. It just would be nice to have the same level of support at home as i do from the majority (1 exception) of people on here. Most days smoking doesn't even cross my mind anymore, it's just occaisionally it comes round and bites me on the bum. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and for me it is getting brighter by the second. I'm sure I'll have more rough times to come (especially when the diet starts next Tuesday ), but hopefully they will be fewer and further between. Anyway, just wanted to say how proud I am to be part of such a lovely bunch of quitters xx

I'm here
WELL DONE RACHEL - We're Proud of You
Yup, very proud! Must be hard dealing with an unsupportive Husband but you've really taken the right attitude towards it Cravings still come and bite me in the bum when I least expect it but it does get easier little by little and that's what we have to remember... something which you seem to be doing extremely well!
Just keep doing what you're doing and you'll be fine.
Hey Rachel
Well done girl - keep up the good work!
Congrats to you for remaining smokefree and in control of your quit
Old habits and associations are indeed strong and will appear out the blue. Even those though become easier to smile at, ignore and brush away.
Enjoy the freedom it brings, the increasing cash pot for the Caribbean trip and all the best with now reducing the quit weight.
I'm finally tackling mine .... may see you in the smokefree muffin tops and porkie social group
There's always light at the end of a tunnel, great to hear your now beginning to see it

Well Done Matey :D
Thanks guys :D, see...I told you you were lovely x
Well, just been to see the nurse about a non smoking matter. She asked me how it was going anyway and made me blow in the puffer. So, now I'm offiacially a non-smoker :D. And, I've been given a prescription for gym membership to lose my tum. Can't wait to be able to fit into my clothes properly again (and not look pregnant)

I don't think that's a tunnel...pretty sure it'll be some sort of terrier
Gym membership still hasn't turned up, so I decided to go it alone tonight and went for my first jog in about 3 years.
Well........I'm still alive...just. I lasted about 15mins
Just don't want to turn up at the gym and pass out on the first apparatus (sorry not been to a gym since school)
