But wishing you all ther best in your quit, and this time in 12 months I will be waiting at the bar in the "Penthouse" with a drink for you to celebrate.
i must say my main problem so far is im very anxious and my kiddes 3years old and 6 months old are doing my head in, so feel very guilty about that
Morning Danny and welcome to the forum.
Well done in taking your first steps of quitting!!
Becoming anxious is part of giving up, but if you think about it, didn't we become anxious when we were "craving" a smoke? To me its all linked
I myself have 4 kids, 13, 10, 6 and 2 yrs old.... alll boys and they do my head in too.... but to be fair they done my head in when i was smoking lol
I will say i have a lot more patience now with them then i did before, that what makes me think that the cravings and being anxious are all linked!
Good luck with your quit, we are with you every step of the way so dont be a stranger to the boards.
Well done to all newbies and congrats on making the best decision of your life to quit
To echo what the others have said, this forum has been a massive help for me during my quit - there have been a few occasions where i have been very close to caving but have always been 'saved' by someone or something on this site :D
last night my date for quitting smokeing finally arrived
im 33 and been smoking for over 15 years
i have not had a fag now since before i went to bed last night
i must say my main problem so far is im very anxious and my kiddes 3years old and 6 months old are doing my head in, so feel very guilty about that

Danny
Hi Danny.
I know kids can be very stressful to handle sometimes, I got a 5 year old and she can't stop bouncing. She just had a heart op and she gained her energy back. And it's hard to handle because she wasn't like this before. And sometimes I just think I need a fag. But I won't give up my own promise to myself and I don't want my little girl seeing me smoking. So just stay focused mate and ask your mrs to keep an eye on you Good luck to you mate.
