Happy days!! Made it to a new category "Week 2". Have been looking forward to moving down the list... got to say that the forum is working :)

Have a dentist today, so fingers crossed I pass my first true test of staying quit

Great stuff savuton :)

I don't think we realise what smoking does to our teeth and gums until we quit - pretty shocking really. Good luck with the dentist zzzzzzzzz :)

Week 2, how flipping fantastic. I remember my week 1 being the longest week of my life so week 2 was a huge relief for me.

Your gums will look much prettier, however can I suggest you buy some tooth paste for sensitive teeth as they do tend to get very sensitive at the beginning of the quit. xx

Hey nana,

I didn't do champix, but from what i've read, everybodys different. I would just follow your doctors instructions or your own instincts on this one. You've quit the smokes which is terrific, don't rush the rest xx

6 weeks, however in hindsight I think I should have stayed on it at least 8 weeks. You just start to take the dose down, your doctor or smoking nurse will be able to advise better though.
