Champix day 4

Having a good morning no cravings yet today... hurray ... :)

Sharing some happiness, happy to have my smell back, shame the neighbour is doing some big burnt/fry up... but hey I'm smelling again.

Feeling as cool as a cucumber, speaking of which need to go and stock up on my fruit nibbles.

Doing it as trying doesn't work.

Stay cool

well done Pedru, I found the first 3 days were the worst. I'm glad you are over the physical addiction, just the mental one to conquer now. Take it one day at a time and I am sure will be successful :D

Hi Pedru

Well done on getting to day 3 - I found the first couple of weeks of quitting on champix almost blissful. Getting a sense of smell back is great - what I really enjoyed was lying in bed at night and breathing deeply for the first time in years.

Enjoy the next few days - you're going to be feeling better than you have done in years.

Hi Pedru welcome to the best quit forum in the world, congrats on your decision to quit, may all your days be smoke free, drink plenty of the free stuff(ok nearly free) and one day at a time and before you know it you will waving the flag out of the Penthouse window,

Fast approaching a week Pedru - go you :)

That first sense of being able to smell properly again is great and you'll be able to take great big lungfuls of air too :D

Thanks Pookie :)

Reporting on day 5 and all is really great still, sure many have asked this question as well. Why the hell didn't I do this earlier?

Anyway no point crying over spilt milk ;)

Pedru/Champix 5 nicotine 0 ... not counting the other 20 odd years.

So day 5, fantastic very nearly a week. You sound so positive which is great. Keep drinking the water, reading the links, posting often and soon you will be counting in weeks and months and not in hours and days.
