Day 6 blues: Was sailing along nicely until I... - No Smoking Day
Day 6 blues
nope it isn't Oxblood, dig your heels in and grit your teeth, it will pass and you will feel better once you get through it. You are doing so well on Day 6, It does get easier, I promise
Easy it ain't
Every time you make it through a bad day you're a little bit stronger to deal with the next one so stick with it. So stay strong - day 6 is great you've almost made a whole week without the stinky sticks!
Thanks for the support guys. Yeah it was weird. Day 4 I was fine in the morning, but the afternoon was bad. Day 6 was the opposite. i came good at lunchtime and have been fine since then.
Good to hear,
I am finding this a real roller-coaster of a ride. Last couple of days have been so erratic(days 6,7 and 8) Hot flushes, confusion, perspiration. Thank goodness today, day 9, is going a lot easier. Actually feel relatively normal.
I dont know to what degree we share symptoms, but from what I can gather from the posts, they are pretty varied. None of them are as bad as waking up with a mouth that tastes like a toilet and a chest that wheezes like the little train that could and an overwhelming compulsion to light another cancer stick and wondering if it is the silver bullet and hating myself before I've even washed the sleep out of my eyes.
Lets just keep going

You said sailing I would relate it more to jet ski-ing over rapids and then over more rapids LOL Its not easy but it is oh so worth it and it want be long before you start to feel the benefits.
But I will say what I always say if you didnt have the bad days how would you know how great the good days are????
Dont despair it will be over so fast and you will say didnt think I would get this far but you will, keep posting and ranting if it makes you feel better.
