Thinking of these...easy way for me to resist lighting up...

What stops me lighting up when a craving rears its ugly head!-

It smells rotten (even worse since I have kicked the habit!)

My chest is clearer already

I don’t wheeze anymore

I know that if I have a cig, I will be disappointed and will have let myself down and the "great feeling" I thought it used to give me will only last about 30 seconds anyway followed by dizzyness.

I am only on day 8 but have already saved £22…bonus!

I don’t want to die anything up to 10-20 years earlier that I would do

My partner doesn’t smoke, and my closest friends don’t smoke so now they don't need to go on at me to stop!

I feel completely in control :)

I am happier – my teeth even look slightly whiter already- no joke

I am calmer (which I didn’t think would happen whilst trying to stop smoking)

I haven’t used my blue inhaler for my asthma since I quit (health better already and more money savings there too!)

I get married next year - I now don't have to worry about sneaking out for a quick fix or worrying about thinking when I will be able to have one without being caught or what people will think etc.

When we start a family I will already be an ex-smoker and won't have any immediate stress and pressure to quit ASAP

ALL these reasons NOT to smoke and many more....yet not one TO smoke! Lets keep it up people!

Smoked 10 a day for 13 years

Tried to quit two years ago and failed at the first “emotion hurdle”

Last cigarette 06.04.10 and now using patches

Feel absolutely great and in control instead of the Nicotine Monster!

Excellent reasons....

If you haave any hard times, have a look a reremind yourself. I still look at me, and there should be a page for all the reasons that become so only when you have been quit for a bit, like returning sense of smell (amazing, i didn't even know that some things smelt so good.) Not wheezing, being able to run,no yukky cough in the mornings, food tasting soogood, white teeth, coated manky tongue, better circulation so that your skin looks pink and healhty, not feeling cold, knowing you are not an addict and a slave to a substance.

Not what you're looking for?
