Been a stressfull day to say the least . The dog was nutured yesterday, my first quit day  and today he has chewed the sutures out bless him . so back to vets and now he is stapled . Did i want a cig ? ohhhhh could of died for one ,i came near to buying a pack, but nope i over come it . You would think i was having panick attacks as i was taking deep breaths lol, looking back at the situation now it was funny ,but it worked for me .

At 9.30 pm im on my third day of no nicotine ,just taken my evening tablet champix .

Stay strong .

Good for you Jan. Keep on struggling if you have to, when things get better you'll realise how much it's worth it. Could be worse, you could be the poor dog, ouch, my eyes are watering. David

Hi Jan

You sound like you are doing really well now, I am on day 2 of quitting and it has been weird. Don't know what to do with myself really, if I don't keep busy I'm like a lost soul. But feel sure we can get a grip on this.

Perhaps we are not used to freedom! I feel like I've been on a short lead to the fags for so long, now I can roam about and do what I like, but can't remember what I like any more. Had a spare hour today so drank a coffee on my own and browsed the shops. Bought a new bag for £5.99, cheaper than a packet of fags!

You were one of the first people to offer support to me, STAY STRONG!! We can do it....

Keep in touch Jan

Claire

Hey Jans - glad to see you're back on the wagon!

Let the Champix do it's work - should make the cigs repulsive. Can take up to 3 weeks to kick in for some people. I took it for nearly 2 weeks before I quit ;)
