All the best. I quit 7 weeks ago with the aid of Champix, well not an aid as such but the most awesome thing ever.
I didn't particularly want to quit but needed to after being asthmatic all my life and smoking 30 a day for 17 years it was taking its toll.
I was told about Cha,pix and didn't believe it would work, a week later I was smoke free and the thought of smoking repulsed me. I now dodn't even miss it or think about smoking, even we when I've had a drink.
So if anyone is having trouble stopping ask your smoking advisor for Champix, it is awesome, I have 2 friends who have also quit using it. Seriously Champix is the one.
All the best to everyone out there.

No i didn't have any side effects, just weird dreams about chasing cheese burgers down the road.
I didn't particularly want to quit but felt i should, i never in a million years expected it to work, it really was quite amazing. And my friend has smoked for 32 years quit 3 weeks ago with it too.
Im sorry you had a bad time with it but your the first person I know whose had a bad experiance with it.
Champix worked for me, however I know a few people who have had side effects (myself included). I would always recommend that people do their homework first before taking the drug.
However Champix stopped me smoking so I for one can not knock it.
Well done you 7 weeks is great I also used champix without problems
