Okay another milestone 8 weeks yesterday and to be honest I am not feeling too bad.
Some times I still think want to smoke but don't know if I really do. After what I have just gone through the last few days and didn't smoke? well that was a big test. I can't get much more of a test than that which I have already had.
Coming back on here tonight is helping me forget my other problem.
It's so great to say I don't smoke, thanks to all who have helped me get this far. I hope I have helped and can help many others to do the same.

Jack, CONGRATULATIONS on 8 weeks down and dusted! 2 months! Was sorry to read about you having difficulties. Hope all is going well for you now. Just remember - smoking never helps, it only hurts! Keep going strong! Jody
Eight weeks and one day is a fantastic achievement my twinny. Well done you, especially under difficult circumstances. Just goes to prove, whatever we plan life still goes on its own merry way regardless of us and in spite of us!!
Your quit is strong Jack and so are you - excellent progress sweetie. xxxx
It's so good to have friends but more importantly great support, thanks.
My problem's still there I hope to clear it up mid week, when it is I will be able to explain. You will then realise how big a test it was for me but I did not smoke.:(
I still feel the wanting for something but I feel it is totally under control now.
I'm a non smoker and I feel healthy, happy and I used to sometimes feel ill in the mornings. Since stopping smoking I don't anymore, I am told to give myself a reward for my achievements. Well how I feel is a reward in it's self.
Well done to you all for what you have achieved and may the quit continue
glad you didn't smoke throughout that jack.. you'll realise all in good time that resisting against all odds while the worst seems to be happening is far far better than caving and taking even just one puff of a cig into your system. Short cures and long regrets all mixed into one is not something i'd wish on anyone with regards quitting smoking, so i'm glad you resisted.
Hi Jack, firstly, your's was one of the first threads I read and it put me in my place, I thought no-one had smoked as long as me and stopped, secondly, your sooo up beat despite obvious circumstances. Really inspired me to do my best and not quit quitting, which, if I'm honest, I've thought of every excuse to do just that. So thanks happy happy jack, you've worked your magic on me.
You'll now be on 8 weeks and 3 days if my sums are fab!
Thats well on the way to 9 weeks...... Well done!!!!
Keep it up mi'ole'china!!!!
xx

Julie yes bragg away it's a really good feeling when you tell someone how long you have been smoke free and they are WOW! Especially if they are a smoker and you can tell they are thinking "I wish it was me"
On the road to freedom im at the back and completely lost

Have a good one jack and enjoy your weekend as well xx
Hey Danni thanks, yeh this thread is kind of telling lies because it just seems to keep hanging around. I'm now on 9 weeks and 4 days at 10pm tonight.
Well done on your quit I believe it 7 days, it will maybe get harder but then it does start to get easier hang in there. I still have bad days but it's much easier to control now and I think that's what makes the difference. So keep at it well done 1 week is a big milestone.
