Hi Emma, Hi Zai
I woke up this morning on day 10...Yes Day 10 already...I usually wake up with a fagover (cigarette hangover) on Sunday morning and can't wait for it to be Monday so I could start quitting again. It has been the best Sunday morning for a long time...I feel great.
Come and take the journey of the Non Smoker. All the fear and all the thought of suffering is nothing compared to that fagover feeling and the constant butterflies, worrying about our health and death.
It's worth going through it all and setting yourselves FREE!
Do what you need to make it through but do it.
I'm off to play tennis today against a guy who smokes...This time I won't be wheezing around the court... I hope to get a win :)...but he's better at tennis than me.
I look to the future and I'm not going to smoke. It's not about getting through a day, a week or a month it's about me never putting my body through that again.
Good luck...we are all with you!
good luck for tomorrow girls - you can do it
Hi Emma and Zai,
All i can add is that the FEAR of quitting is actually a whole lot worse than quitting itself.
What have you got to lose? Come on guys, you absolutely CAN do this!
Think positive, if you really want to be a non-smoker then you will do it, and everyone on here will help you.
I second what Defrog said, set yourselves free, there's no feeling in the world quite like knowing you've kicked nicodemon's butt!
I'm on Day 6 and i feel absolutely fantastic, back in control of my life at last.
I'm right behind you guys, be strong and good luck

Hi Emma, Zai
I totally agree, I had myself worked up into a frenzy bout how hard it was going to be, and although its hard.. it isnt half as hard as I expected. I am also using patches and I think that has made it eaiser.
Good luck

Sometimes starting the quit can be like rolling a 1 on the dice when you really needed a 6 to get off and running.. things don't work out and you go back to the start... only this time you roll your 6 and you leap off into your quit with a renewed determination to win and before long you have been quit for weeks and looking at your first month done.
Good luck to you, be determined and extremely stubborn. Hope you do it!
