Day 3 and I'm amazed I'm here. Never managed to get this far when trying to stop before. I usually cave in and have a fag near the end of day 2. Feeling a bit out of sorts with a sore head but really very happy and glad I've got this far. woohoo!

I saw this post earlier and I'm surprised you have not had an answer before now.

A very well done getting to day 3 especially as you have never got there before. Just try to take it one day at a time and before you know it, it will be a week.

Keep going the longer you go the better you'll feel with your self.

Jack :)

Feeling out of sorts is a positive side effect of quitting! Well done on your achievement! Fingers crossed you can keep it going.

Well done you...day 2 is the worst!!!!

I can honestly say that day 2 was probably the very worst for me....nothing since has been that bad.

Keep going and it is day 4 tomorrow that is more than half way to a week...

Stay strong my love xx

Hi Wishfulthinking :)

Well done 3 days is great the feeling out of sorts and a sore head is normal and will soon pass

Below is my standard welcome and advice post which I try and give all new members

Welcome to the forum and well done on the decision to quit possibly one of the most important you will ever make and you will be losing nothing but you will regain control of your life and that has to be good

You will find all the help and support you need on here as we all help each other just like a family we are here for you every step of the way cheering the good days and sympathising with the bad but the good far outweigh the bad

Read the posts on here you will find a lot of tips and advice and in the signatures of a lot you will find links to other sites just click on them Here are 2 I find very good to start you off whyquit.com and woofmang.com Read, read and then read some more as the more you read and learn about why you smoked and about your addiction the easier your quit will be

This link is good for the psychological part of quittingwhyquit.com/whyquit/A_Sympt...

Post often to let us know how you're doing, to rant, rave have a moan whatever you like pretty much anything goes on here

Love

Marg xx

Welcome and well done stopping smoking. Sounds like you have some symptoms of stopping, have a look in our signatures there are some websites which tell you all about symptoms and lots of other good info on staying stopped.

Look forward to hearing how you get on.

Day 3 is a critical day on your quit .. i find the first week on the whole to be very up n down, but despite the challenge, worth every bit of effort you throw at it. Congrats on getting to this point and looking at the date of your post, your likely on day 5 now?

How did you get on with the rest of your day 3 and day 4 too? Fingers crossed you kept the demon at bay.

Sorry I didn't see your post sooner, i normally see the early posts and reply too.

Not what you're looking for?
