Hi, sorry to hear that you are struggling, having the occasional one will only making the bad bits last longer, as I am sure you know.
Spend some serious time reading the links, it will help, everytime you feel like you are about to give in, come here instead and post and post until the moment passes.
This can be a very difficult thing to do, but you need/want to do it, and you are worth it. So try and stay positive, know we will all help as much as we can.
How about using Champix (1/2 dose) for a week or so to help you with these cravings? It may be worth going back to the doctor/smoking nurse and talking it over.
I'm really sorry you are having a tough time, let me know how you get on.
hi Alfie... I had a bleep and smoked half a fag a month ago, and it made me feel physical sick, my chest tight and my throat sore. haven't even had a thought since. It's important to keep busy and understand your stress triggers so you can learn new coping mechanisms. i changed a lot of my routines when i quit to make it easier, it has helped a lot.
i agree, maybe you could take champix for a couple of weeks, half or one ful dose so it takes the edge off and get you back on track and more confident?
this forum has always helped me stay strong as well so use it LOTS...
Help im struggling still, had another fag last night. Have thrown the pack away, my lungs hurting today which may trigger my brain to stop now.
Has anybody else had this problem?
i don't know what to do.
Ive heard st john's wart may help the mind a bit may try some.
G/F out Friday and im in babysitting, id better be strong. May get stuck into Call of Duty or fifa10 online.
What a bummer...and feelling for you there. It's a struggle in the earlier days...no doubt about that. But it seems that Frenchy has captured a lot about the early days in the post below.

What I'd like to add is that you could have a look at the hyperlinks in various members' sigs and try to get to a better understanding of your journey into freedom.
