I used to scoff at the cost of a gym...I have always exercised but paying £37/month for a poncy gym seemed crazy...Amazing how £37/month for fags and a few beers here and there doesn't go very far...moment of clarity... Go to the gym...makes me feel alive again! Also aches like a B##ch!!! Ow!:rolleyes:

I am a convert too

I joined the gym last year during another quit which lasted a week. I stopped visiting the gym. Started back on this quit and I really enjoy it. Amazing what a change of mindset can do.

I had the same view as you on the money front. Since I stopped I remained a tight a**se! Bought a indoors bike and rowing machine. Now I can eat, drink and ride whilst watchin' telly!
