I feel frayed, annoyed, irritable, naffed off and just plain evil today!
In such a horrible mood... i'm only safe on my own.. as soon as contact is made with other human beings the werewolf in my soul awakens livens and tries to aim for the jugular... needing this much blood im assuming is a vampire werewolf..... Dear God pass me the silver cross and all that banishing stuff!!!!

So unpredictable the 3rd month can be. Its the terrible 3's at work I suspect here.
One thing is for sure, you are probably not the only one going through a tough time in the third month, i had some really rough days which turned into weeks at around that time and while it seems difficult, you need to keep reminding yourself that you are going to succeed at this quit and you are not going to let the nicotine demons mind games win this time.
He's getting really desparate now, because if you crack your third month, he's lost you :).. and you will see easier times again real soon.
Hang in there.. i know you hate feeling this way at the moment, but its far ... FAR superior to feeling like crap because you cannot kick the addiction. You are better than this, so chin up, and soldier through this. Made of tough stuff you are!
Hey Zozie, sweetheart, this is not at all like you?
You are allowed to feel hatred - I think we all do at times in varying degrees about all sorts of things/people/situations. None of us can be sweetness and light all the time; we would be so boring if we were.
Go with the flow and stay on your own for today if that makes you feel more comfortable, hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for you. Passing you silver cross and banishing stuff - hth!!
Love and hugs sweetie and remember, this too shall pass. xxxx
thats what makes a forum like this essential for you when you are quitting smoking.
It is so very easy to forget just how well we have done so far, and how well we continue to do as we continue to stay free of smoking. I went through a hellish time during part of my quit last year, and when i saw your post i could see pretty much exactly what i was experiencing last year.
This rough patch does pass, truly it does.. and you may feel like this again briefly.. your body is still adjusting.. as is your mind. You have chosen not to fill your life with nicotine to falsely re-enforce how you feel, and are now just starting to see things much more clearly, and the nicotine demon will right now be doing his best to make everything seem grey and pointless without him.. but trust me on one thing if you will... the colour comes back to your life.. and you do start to feel much more vibrant real soon. You just have to work at it.
Now as for your symptoms (eg. how you are feeling)... treat them on their own.. and don't over-worry on them. oh and one last thing? why don't you do what I did when I felt a bit down.. go for a nice leisurely walk in your local park.. or just some nice route near where you live. Just literally go for it.. no purpose except to get you out the house for a half hour or more.
