The weekend was really hard, I constantly felt like I was missing something, particularly when I had a drink or 3 inside me!
But I've done it and it can only get better from here, I guess. I'm really proud of myself and have almost (not quite but almost) started thinking of myself as a non smoker!!

Well done Emily you are doing great. You will think about them, they were around you often for many years, but it will get less as you clock up the days.
Distract yourself by doing something physical, reading or maybe watching telly. Read plenty about the addiction it will help you to understand why you feel the way you do.
Well done Emily, especially for managing not to smoke under the influence One more trigger broken, I'm still careful around alcohol when I know I'm going to be with smokers.
Remember Never take another puff or NOPE - Not one Puff Ever
Well done Emily, I too found the weekend hard with it being my first weekend being a "NON SMOKER" however I did on purpose avoid pubs but I have had a couple of friends round and they were smoking in the garden, and boy did they stink when they come in, hahahah!!!!!!.
You're doing fantastic, I'm only a day behind and feel like I've never smoked before, hope it lasts???????
