she kept me going

most of you might wonder who she is...well she is a very nice girl called sal (what i caal her for short) who i dearly love but were not getting into a relationship as distance is to far at the moment but anywho.

i was saying to her that even though its day 9 (day 10 tommoz whoo) i am craving so badly it feels like someone who hasnt eaten in days and she has well just keep texting saying that she knows i can do it so here i am at the end of day 9 and still smoke free and finding it harder as each day come by so far

ive only experinsed very hard days for the 1st week so this is new to me but i am on quit attempt number 9

lets hope it doesnt hit double figures

  • Morning Geoff,

You're more than capable of doing it so keep going! Try to turn your crave into an "I want" instead if "I must have". This should make them easier to deal with.

Oh and a Motorsport fan I see! Who do you follow in the BTCC?

  • Hi Geoff :D

Well done beating off the day 9 demons with Sal's help and now it's day ten jang on tight Geoff you can do this

    Love

    Marg xx

  • I wouldn't say I follow it in terms of specific teams etc, although I am a fan of Plato, I like his aggressiveness. I'm the same with Giovanardi - I guess I sway a little closer to the latter as I drive a Vauxhall and live not a million miles from Luton - kinda my home team I guess.

I'm a big motorsport fan in general - I mix this with a love of photography. I try to get to as many local(ish) events as possible throughout the year at Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Snetterton and occasionally pop down to the Festival of Speed at Goodwood.

Let me know if there's any specific photos/interests you have, I can have a search through my archives (of around 16,000 photos) to see if there's any that may interest you (cars and bikes).

A quick (and not so good) example.

  • Cheers Geoff,

I'll have a look over the next week (may take a while due to the number of photos I have). I'll PM you the links once I've got them on the Interwebs.
