OK. I never get ill. I've had one day off sick in 5 years. And now I've decided to quit smoking, I feel terrible! I have a stinking cold, sore nose, sore lips and bad skin! ARRRGGGGHHHH. Is this common? Or pure co-incidence?

Quite common I'm afraid. Have a look around and you will find many of us had colds and similar in the first few days/weeks.

Hopefully the up side is that you don't feel like smoking because you are feeling too ill, however this too will pass and you will come out the other side feeling stronger and healthier.

Hi Emily :D

Sorry you feel rough just now but it is very normal

It will pass patience you'll start to feel the benefits of quitting very soon
