I have quit for 6 weeks now using patches. (Didn't think I would say that!!) I was on them for about 2 weeks and now I only wear one maybe every other day or sometimes every 4 -5 day. The reason is a few weeks ago I forgot to slap on a patch so I went to work without one on. After a panic attack thinking help no patch!! I got over it. So I thought ""lets try another day without one". I always carry a patch and my inhalator with me just in case.
My smoking nurse is happy with what I do, but she wants me to finish the non smoking course I am on.
Word of advice. Go to your Doctors surgery and see a smoking nurse. The smoking aids are cheaper on prescription than the chemist.
Although the patches are helping me, everybody is different and you got to do what you think is best for yourself.
