Didnt go too bad, the morning was the worst.Stayed at home most of the day listening to the radio,sleeping,reading,quick nip to the shops and blogging.Did manage to scoff a couple of scones but will get some health alternative tomorrow.tried to make the day easy. mmmmm deep breaths,one day nearly over... good luck everyone, I really want to do this.

Well done you. How are you doing this = cold turkey, patches, other?
My only advice is to read the other posts and the links here - learn as much about the adiction and the highs and lows of quitting as you can - it will help.

A great start Sasser - read loads of posts from all the sections on this forum. Get to know your enemy then you will be prepared!
I have just made it to one year without smoking so I was exactly in your position this time last year. I posted on here all the time and got loads of help, it really works! Good luck
