Went out for a few drinks last night and got rather tipsy. No cigarettes! Now into day three and still feeling OK. Back to work tomorrow - that's when the stress starts but I'm not going to use that as an excuse
Day 3 and still OK: Went out for a few drinks... - No Smoking Day
Day 3 and still OK
Well done Mike you are doing great, these first three days really are the biggest test and you are nearly there.
Dont worry about work. If it is any help I found it easier when I was at work than at home...less time to think
Stay strong...xx
Work'll be easy! You should be able to handle stress much better now as you're a calmer person, don't forget cigarettes are a stimulant and don't actually calm you down (they in fact increase blood pressure and pulse rate).
In terms of the nicotine "come down" today should be it, most traces should have left your body. If you feel the urge 5 big deep breaths should now give you the same high.
Lorna's right - it's easier not to smoke at work than at home - busy plus you have to go outside to have a puff.
You're doing well, Day 3 and you've managed to not smoke while drinking - really well done
You are doing great, keep putting one foot in front of the other and day by day it will get better. Read as much as you can about the addiction to nicotine it helps to know that what we once believed about cigarettes is rubbish. None of us would be where we are if it stayed bad, trust us it is as they say 'Do-able'.

Thanks Guys
Well just about made it to end of day three. The supportive comments from one and all are a big help thanks. Saved almost £20 so far too!!
HEY mIKE,
I am at the end of day 3 as well, I found it the worst day by far! You are lucky to have saved £20 I have only saved about £3.00. I smoked roll ups which were much cheaper, plus I have spent £8.00 on patches and £18 on an inhalator!
Never mind it will be well worth it, keep up the good work!
