Well folks, made it through Yule, new year etc without a smoke. Yey! But boo sucks on all other fronts!! Feel a bit bad for abandoning the site, but personal issues meant I had to not think about me and be lolling about on a forum getting pats on the back for not being a smoky fool! Ha ha!!
Anyhoo, life has NOT improved, being selfless has NOT made anything better so I thought sod it, have a peek back in this sweet and supportive forum and see how folks are doing!
So, it's been nearly 2 whole months for me smoke free, 2 of the most stressful months of my life (nowt to do with smoking, just fecking life situations!!), and it shows no matter what, a fag won't help!
Big hugs to all who are still staying smoke free, and a 'COME ON' to those who are still dawdling! Just stub it out already!! XX

Hey Dee Welcome back proud of you and your quit, hope you have a happy and smokeless new year
Hey Deedee Glad to hear your quit is still going strong! Hope things get resolved soon in your life as stressful times bring out them craves way more and you don't need to have it harder.... quitting smoking is hard enough.... but you're doing it so a big WELL DONE to you! 2 months is most excellent and you'll see how much easier it will get now! Hang in there! xxx Bella
Bradders and sweet Bellablue, thanks! It aint easy, but we keep on eh? Big hugs, and a glass of home made sloe vodka for you both- and for anyone else who fancies a tipple! XX
On a more serious note, am very glad that despite ongoing sh*t in life, am still not smoking- but boy it would be easy to spark up! But what would that achieve? A moment of relief (percieved relief, not actual relief!!) then weeks of stress! So, inner strength gets a big thumbs up from me! Big up to all those who made it rhough the festivities with nice breath and clear-ish lungs! And, keep trying to those who didn't. XX
Cheers Marg, you're always there with a warm hello! Life does not as yet improve (how bleeding rude!), circumstances beyond my control, and those in my control refuse to be controlled! Ha! Anyway, I get through each day without a smoke so that's something pretty good eh? Actually, the idea of inhaling hot toxins right now is quite icky. I am however thinking fondly of morphine!! Only joshing- striaght vodka will have to suffice.
But, soon I'll have finished 2 whole months so that's something to look forward to eh?
Well done Deeds. I've just reappeared here after 3 or 4 weeks - like you, too much going on. Still strong, still quit - that's what is important. The other sh*t will still be there even if you smoke again. Proud of you my girl.
