Hey guys, just thought i would pop in and say Hi Day 30 for me today and still going strong however I am getting mightily fed up of champix. Don't get me wrong its wonderful, but the sicky feeling in the morning is just getting on my nerves. So I have an appointment at the non smoking clinic next Tuesday and I am going to ask if I can go down to one pill in the evening a day.
To be honest I have been forgetting to take them on occasion and I have been fine, so I am sure it will be ok

Wildcats i am sure you will never have to break another record as this time will be your last keep going Strong wildcats you have lots of nice friends on here to support you
Congratulations, 30 days is brill. I think there are some posts on here about your problem with the Champix, there are also loads of people who will come along and give you an answer I am sure.
I remember that sickly feeling well. I had had several failed attempts at quitting before due to coming of the champix too early and relapsing so I really tried to keep on them as long as I could stand this time and it has worked.
Yeah they arent the nicest things in the world but they are helping you do something very big.
Definately good idea on the revisit to the docs and talk about lowering dose. my only word of advice is just stick on em as long as you can and you run a better chance of winning this game.
Well done Wildcats...30 days is a brilliant achievement. Don't stress about the Champix - if you're forgetting to take it then your need is reducing. I took 1 tablet a day for 2 weeks then stopped taking any at all. I was only on it for about 6 weeks in total.
aww thanks guys, you are just the best. You make me feel so supported that quitting smoking has been quite easy this time.. well maybe not easy, but certainly easier than before.
