Hi, newbie here. I've reached day 3 on Champix after 30 years of smoking 20 a day, and many previous attempts to give up using every method possible. Feeling ok so far except for nights sweats (but that might be just my age!!:D)
I have found a really useful app on my iphone called "My Last Cigarette" (MLC). It tracks how much money saved, effects on circulation, lung health etc. I've found it very motivating to watch my Carbon Monoxide and Nicotine levels reduce over the past few days. Might not suit everyone but worth a look.

Thanks for the support guys - I'll log on and update daily on my non-smoking progress. I've spent lunch hour today with my head buried in a good book to avoid thinking about the usual midday fag. Going out tonite - next big challenge is to drink and not smoke:eek:
