Ive just been to the docs for a check up. Told him i had forgotton to take the evening champix for the last 4 days, so he suggested stopping taking it if i feel ok. So lets see how that goes. I cant see why not give it a go, only problem is its only been 25 days and am i ready????. I dont know i guess i will find out.
Hang in there

If you don't feel ready to let go of Champix yet, try cutting it in half and just taking a half each day for a week or so. That's what I'm doing and it's working out fine. I started that after about a month. Quite a few people have suggested 'weaning' yourself off Champix rather than just stop from maximum dose.
Don't risk your quit by quitting too early (if you see what I mean)
I think as long as your doctor is advising you, give it a go. I was at the doctor's yesterday (he has me come every 2 wks), and I asked him how long he planned to keep me on it. He said the earliest he considers taking people off is after 6 weeks of not smoking.
I think 25 days is a bit soon top syop iy but if the Doc thinks you're ready why not give it a go but don't chuck any you have left just yet that way you can go back to them if you need to
let me know how you r getting on because i want to start cutting them out not only as i am feeling so sick but also here in ireland a box costs 230.00 per month
Although you are cutting one dose out.. cutting out completely this soon is highly dependent on you. It does seem a bit soon truth be told but if it was me, i would have a very very long think about it.
Number 1 priority is do not risk your quit for a spot of experimentation unless you are extremely confident of success doing it. If there is any doubt of any kind.. consider if now is a good time.

WOAH! Every day I thank my lucky stars I moved from Ireland to London in 2008. Sorry I don't mean that sarcastically by the way. Over here we get Champix for £7.40 a go
