I have been stopped 3 weeks on Wednesday. I my first smoke free day was on 30th September. This is the probably the longest I have stopped without cheating a little along the way, the odd drag or the odd cig. It really hasn't bothered me as much as I thought. I very rarely get cravings. I have noticed though that I have been eating quite a lot more and feel like I've been more lazy. I'm going to try to get myself to the gym tomorrow and burn off some calories. I know that they say in the beginning that you put some weight on sometimes as you eat when you would otherwise be smoking, but I hope that I don't put too much on.
Hope everyone else is doing well.

Everybody on here are so supportive and everybody has different tips and advise to help you
Hi Steph, That's great - we quit on the same day and both doing fine.
I've found it's getting much easier now. Thinking less about cigarettes now and actually beginning to feel like a non-smoker. I've been doing it on Champix so have had a few side effects eg weird dreams, tiredness, nausea and mood swings, but they are all minor really and seem to be getting much better now.
Thanks everyone. Well done to you too Cyprien, its nice to know someone has stopped on the same day. I was going to wait until a Monday then thought I'd be better just going for it. I've had some bad moods and seem to be a bit more sensitive, but I'm hoping it will get better. I know what you mean about almost feeling like a non smoker. I've thought a couple of times I wonder if this is what I would feel like if I'd never smoked...
I've noticed people smoking quite a lot. What I have to remind myself is I am choosing not to smoke
